“Bob” has ministered in many countries, often leading teams of Cedarville University students. These ministries have been some of the joys of his life.

Bob has years of pastoral ministry experience & served as the Vice President for Christian Ministries & Campus Pastor at Cedarville University for 27 years.

Bob has been married to his wife, Lynn, for over 50 years.  He & Lynn have 2 children and 5 grandchildren, of whom they are very proud.

Monica Bowen

Monica Bowen

Monica has years of experience serving in a treasurer capacity & related responsibilities. She loves anything to do with numbers & organization! Monica also enjoys serving others & getting things done on her lists.

Monica & her husband, Ryan, have 2 children and live in Cedarville, Ohio. The Bowen family have gone on many adventures over the years & particularly love traveling out West.

In her free time, Monica loves to take walks, exercise, & do almost anything outdoors.

Cheryl Buettell

Cheryl Buettell

Cheryl serves on our Board with her husband Paul, & together, the Buettells have genuine hearts for ministry & sharing the Good News.

The Buettells are actively involved with their church. They have worked at Camp Patmos & in various short-term ministries & related agencies,. They have also been Adult Bible Fellowship teachers & Christian school board members.

Cheryl attended Clarks Summit University & currently works at Sibcy Cline Realtors.

Dr. David Gaffner

Dr. Gaffner has ministry experience in the Philippines, South Africa, Israel, & Russia. He has 40 yrs. of experience in education & counseling, & served 2 yrs. as an assistant pastor.

Dr. Gaffner has been married to his wife Marlene for 50 yrs., & has 3 children & 6 grandchildren.

Dr. James Phipps

Dr. Phipps enjoys serving global workers while in the U.S. He has has served as a mayor, in NAIA sports venues, and professional specialties.

Dr. Phipps served on the faculty of Cedarville University for 50 yrs., 33 yrs. as Chairman of the Department of Communications. He is retired from his position as Sr. Professor in the Dept. of Communications.

Dr. Phipps has been married to his wife, Patricia, for 50 yrs. They have 3 children & many grandchildren.

Paul Buettell

Paul serves on our Board with his wife Cheryl. Together, the Buettells have genuine hearts for ministry & sharing the Good News.

The Buettells are actively involved with their church. They have worked at Camp Patmos & in various short-term ministries & related agencies. They have also been Adult Bible Fellowship teachers & Christian school board members.

Paul graduated from Cedarville University. He is currently Area Manager for the Columbus territory of Butler Manufacturing.

Dr. Brooks & her family are veteran global workers. She is a physician at Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Brooks is married to David & has 2 children.

Scott Huck

Scott Huck

Scott has been leading short-term ministry trips for over 25 yrs. during his employment as official photographer at Cedarville University. He has led trips to the following countries:

  • Italy
  • Kosovo
  • Portugal
  • South Africa
  • Guatemala
  • The Dominican Republic
  • Thailand
  • Malawi

Scott loves leading short-term trips with college students, giving them real-life understanding of international ministry, while assisting occupational global workers. Scott has seen many students go on to full-time ministry overseas.

Scott has been a professional photographer for 30 yrs. He & Roxy have 2 daughters.

Pat Michalski

Pat Michalski

Pat has a burning heart for spreading the Gospel among the nations, & has attended many national & regional ministry conferences.

Pat is retired from her position as Treasurer & Financial Officer of Cedar Cliff School District, where she served alongside the Superintendent & under the Board of Education. In her former position, Pat was responsible for fiscal operations, creating policies & ensuring safeguarding public monies.

Pat is a 1980 graduate of Cedarville University.

Dr. Craig Miller

Dr. Craig Miller

As the former Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio, Dr. Miller led his church’s global ministries effort. He shaped the church’s global outreach policy, regularly visited ministry partners & fields on 5 continents, & sought to raise awareness of global outreach within the church.

Dr. Miller was instrumental in founding Grace Global Ministries, & serves on the board of 2 other agencies.

Scott Shaw

Dr. Scott Shaw

Dr. Shaw has participated in short-term ministry projects in Alaska, India, & the Philippines. & has been involved in ministry through his local church for over 25 yrs. Dr. Shaw serves as staff physician at the Dayton VA Medical Center.

Dr. Shaw lives with his wife, Pat, their son, Sam, & their daughter, Katie.

Casey has served 7 times in short-term ministry in the Philippines & Portugal, as well as volunteer ministry leadership roles at 2 different churches. He taught & coached for 7 yrs. & then served as administrator at 2 different schools.
